Oyster Extravaganza at Essence

Kuala Lumpur, February 2015 – Oyster lovers will rejoice at the Oyster Craze Buffet Dinner at our all day dining restaurant, Essence. You can anticipate a gastronomical journey that showcases international favourites as well as a wide range of oyster delights.

With visual drama and theatrics thrown in for its interior and food preparation, you are guaranteed a feast not just for your appetite but your taste buds and eyes too! Be pampered by over 120 sumptuous international and local delights at Essence featuring oyster dishes cooked in various methods! With an extensive 100-metre buffet spread, you can witness our chefs create dishes at live cooking stations for a dining experience that engages all your senses such as Fried Radish Cake and freshly Shucked Oysters.


You can start your meal with Breaded Oyster with Baby Romaine and Mushroom Salad. What’s more, be amazed as our culinary team magically conjures local dishes at the Asian favourites counter with authentic Malay and Chinese cuisines, and fire up the grill station with the choicest seafood. You can look forward to Oyster and Artichoke Soup, Oyster Mac & Cheese, Oyster Rockefeller, Steamed Egg with Dried Oyster, Sea Cucumber and Mushroom, Sambal Oyster with Petai and much more! Alternatively, you can enjoy Oyster Rolls with a twist from the Japanese corner.

The Oyster Extravaganza buffet dinner is priced at RM108++ per person (food only) and it is available for dinner from 16 February to 31 March 2015, 6.30 – 10.30pm daily. What’s more, top up an additional RM50++ per person to enjoy free flow of New Zealand wine or RM15++ for every bottle of Guiness Stout.



With a seating capacity of 200 persons, Essence serves buffet breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am daily, buffet lunch from 12noon to 2.30pm and buffet dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm daily. For weekend hi-tea at Essence on Saturday, Sundays and public holidays, it is from 12 noon to 4pm.
