Sheraton “Paired” Combines Unique and Surprising Flavours in its Bar’s Offering for Guests and Locals around the Globe

Kuala Lumpur, —September 2015—Sheraton® Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, is reinvigorating its bar experience with imaginative menu additions through “Paired”, a new food and beverage program comprised of artisanal small plates and eclectic bar snacks served alongside suggested premium wines and local craft beers. From a Baby Lamb Ribs Soup paired with Mountain Goat craft beer to Baked Chicken Wing paired with Syrah, Gerard Bertrand-France, Paired stretches the boundaries of traditional pairing principles by blending ingredients together in new and unexpected ways for guests. Available at Sheraton properties worldwide, Paired is the latest of many initiatives underway for Sheraton 2020, an all-encompassing plan designed to solidify Sheraton as a leading global hotel brand of choice, everywhere.

The new menu uniquely pairs small plates and bar snacks with an unexpected recommendation from Sheraton Selects—a menu of premium wines rated 85 points or higher by Wine Spectator—and a craft beer, sourced specifically for this Paired Program.


The Paired program, offered across Sheraton properties globally, is available daily during the lobby venue’s hours of operation, and here at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur the new menu is available in our Toastina Café & Bar from 11am onwards on Monday to Friday and 12pm onwards on Saturdays. Guest can expect to find and taste the genuinely spectacular Paired items below:

• Spicy Sardine & White Egg paired with a Villa Maria, Sauvignon Blanc or a Hitachino Nest
• Gorgonzola Mash paired with a Shiraz, De Brotoli or a Mountain Goat
• Beef Pastrami with Pickle paired with a Chardonnay, De Bortoli Deen Vat 7 or a Two Step
• Chili Chicken Tortilla Roll paired with a Syrah, Gerard Bertrand or a Two Step
• Baby Lamb Ribs Soup paired with a Syrah, Gerard Bertrand or a Mountain Goat
• Baked Chicken Wing paired with a Syrah, Gerard Bertrand or a Mountain Goat
• Cherry Tomato Salad paired with a Villa Maria, Sauvignon Blanc or a Hitachino Nest
