Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel Launches Italian Prosecco Brunch at Villa Danieli

Villa Danieli, an inviting, free-standing trattoria styled after a country home is proud to offer brunch, a combination of breakfast and lunch eaten usually during the late morning and can be extended until 3pm, beginning January 24th, 2016 for every Sundays.

The hotel’s food and beverage team has come up with a solution for those who prefer to sleep in slightly later than usual on Sundays. They can now look forward to enjoying a wide selection of fresh baked pastries and antipasto, a la’-carte dishes and fruits, desserts and free flowing Prosecco (the famous Italian sparkling white wine) from 11am till 3pm. The Italian Prosecco Brunch is priced at MYR238 nett per adult.

The salad and antipasto bar serves appetisers of the chefs’ creation such as Confit Baby Octopus with Kalamata Olive, Chargrilled Cod with Potatoes, Cannelini Beans with Baked Salted Ricotta Cheese and EVOO, Homemade Smoked Salmon with Capers, Beef Carpaccio with Mustard Dressing and a whole lot more! An assorted selection of freshly shuck oyster, Boston Lobster Ravioli with Shimeji Butter Sauce, Honey Pumpkin with Gorgonzola Soup, Red Mullet with Garlic Crostini and Steamed Fresh Mussel with White wine will be presented as well while you wait for your main course.

The main a la’-carte dishes for selection in this Italian Prosecco Brunch includes Homemade Squid Ink Fettucine Aglio Olio with Salmon Roe, Sauteed fresh Clam with Garlic, Corriander and Saffron Jus, Rosemary Marinated Lamb Rib on Roasted Garlic Potato, Shallot Red Wine Sauce and Dried Fruit Salsa and Grilled Loin Strop with Parmesan-Potato Pave, Balsamic Braised Yellow Onion and Porcini Jus.

Guests should leave some space for sweet endings as they would not want to miss the selection of satisfying desserts. An array of Western-style mousses and creams, flans, tarts, cakes and crumbles will satisfy the sweet tooth. For certain, waking up late for this brunch spread will leave diners satiated and feeling wholesome throughout the day.
